Listed below is a brief description of current and future writing projects, and links to where you can read them, if applicable. That's right, for now everything is free to read as I have not published anything yet, so enjoy it while you can! Readers are welcome for all things posted, including comments and critiques.

Nagnomei

Nagnomei began many years ago as I was just beginning my writing life. Originally it was meant to be a simple heroic/adventure story but has since bloomed into a series packed with more distinct characters and my own take on society's moralities and practices. (Since what fun is being a writer if I don't get to pass that on to all my readers?) In this series I pack all of my love for medieval lore, shiney swords, men and women battling evil, and not to mention a plethora of magic. I've always been a fantasy heroine at heart and this is my culmination of that genre's efforts. It will soon be my debut series if the cosmos will allow, with the first book, after nearly eight long years, on its "final" (they are never final, you know) rewrite.

Each book is named after one of the kingdoms/various places located on the planet of Nagnomei. Preceeding this is a factor of that book's plot.

Premise: My first original series, Nagnomei is an epic fantasy that spans the course of ten planned books. There are a huge array of characters from every walk of life; although, at its heart, Nagnomei is about exploring one's origins and questioning the established status-quo. Nagnomei follows the lives of various characters as they grow and wander the continent in order to save lives and research moments of their species' past. Underlying all of this is a Parthenon of eclectic Gods and Goddesses that both help and hinder them, all the while trying to keep the ever-evolving mortal culture from discovering what really put them on their blessed planet.

That said, the first novel is nearing completion of the final draft. The title is linked below so you can read the first half, which has its own centralized plot.

     A sleeping demon awakes after four-thousand years of banishment to revitilize its campaign against      Nagnomei and the gods that claim it. The seer goddess Fate chooses Jack Perkins, a teenage ruralite      from the quiet kingdom of Lianrawl, to unsheath his god Shiloh's sword and go chasing down the very      demon that threatens the peace and prosperity of the entire continent. The trick, however, is to      complete the task without disrupting the harmony between the guilt and the shame of the gods and      the blissful ignorance of their subjects below - for unlocking the mysteries of the world's origins may      bring a quicker fall than any demon ever could.

CROSS//

Born from a dream that played like an engrossing movie in my mind, CROSS// debuted as my first attempt at NaNoWriMo in 2007 and has since grown from a three book series to a five book series. I seem to always make it a point to continue working on this series non-stop every November, as it is currently my back-up series to Nagnomei above. Themes include reincarnation/death, sexuality, retribution, and loyalty.

Premise: With a core plot that spans over two nearly twenty-five-hundred years, CROSS//, like Nagnomei, brings both immortals and mortals together in an intergalactic war for the right to exist. With the Void - the source of all spiritual life in the universe - on the verge of collapse, a pair of sorcerers and a group of Earthlings are charged with bringing spiritual balance back to the universe. With themes dealing in reincarnation/death, sexuality, loyalty and the very will to live, CROSS// is probably my biggest literary attempt yet.

     For over a thousand years Nerilis Dunsman, a sorcerer and ex-Priest of the Void, has been on a      destructive rampage that has left over a hundred planets non-existant. His only true nemesis lies      in his old friend Ramaron Marlow and his pair of mercenaries that have been forced into the      "Process", a cycle of death and rebirth that will continue until their goal of stopping Dunsman is      achieved. As Dunsman sets his sights on current day Earth, the reborn mercenaries Lt. Danielle      Cromwell and Devon Anderson must scramble for their memories and locate the piece that holds all      of Earth's soul together before it is destroyed.
